The Pedestal 2020 Timber Floor Plan

The Pedestal 2020 Timber is our newest design.  We used the word Timber in the name because the roof design is completely different than the other Pedestal Homes.   The main gable roof has the ridge beam designed from street side to the view side.  This means you have a 20’ gable end facing your view which is full of glass doors and windows.  We also have 3 new firsts in this design.  This is the first Pedestal Home floor plan that we have designed to have a 2-story cantilever.  In this pedestal timber home, 2 of the wings have an exposed loft floor system over the entire wing creating 2 floors and additional sq. ft into the design.  The next first is the master bedroom is cantilevered 12’ instead of the traditional 10’.  The 3^rd new design is a 14’ cantilever towards the view which comprises of 10’ of home and 4’ of a walk around balcony.   This is the only design whereby the exterior decks on the view side are all completely cantilevered with no posts.   The floor plan has a total of 2150 sq. ft. with 1250 sq. ft. on the main level, 500 sq. ft. upstairs, and 400 in the base.   Master bedroom on the main floor with spacious bathroom.  Very open plan as the kitchen, dining room and great room all flow into one another.  The Great Room is truly that.  Twenty ft. tall ceilings give you the sense of a substantial timber home.   Douglas Fir rafters and Douglas Fir Tongue and Groove highlight the ceilings.  We also use the same Douglas Fir for our exposed loft floor system.  Four sliding doors grant you easy to your cantilevered decks and the views.  We build our prefab pedestal homes in small wall panel sections that allow us to ship anywhere. This panelization allows for quick erection time protecting your home the inclement weather.  We provide full in house drafting with AutoCAD blueprints ready for permit submission.
