Our 24×40 house plans are customizable and unique for each project. The covered porch features douglas fir rafters and tongue and groove ceiling welcomes you as you approach the front door. Once inside you are immediately hit with 22’ tall ceilings with the same Douglas Fir timbers. The openness and volume gives you sense of ahh and peace. This is home. This plan is 1450 sq. ft with 2 bedrooms down and the master up. Remember we can change the configuration of the post and beam home plan to make it yours. The Living Room is spacious 16×14, dining 16×10 and the kitchen is 11×9. Two bedrooms on the main floor share a full bath which is also available for your guests. Upstairs features the master bedroom with walk in closet and full bath. This design also has a balcony great for study or kids’ area. This entire area is completely vaulted with same douglas fir timbers and Tongue and Groove ceiling giving you tons of volume and space. Our post and beam home plans are either 24 or 28 feet deep and then we work in 4’ increments, i.e. 24×36, 40, 44 etc. Customizable and beautiful. Entering the home under the covered porch gives you a sense of what is to come. This post and beam home plan features large timbers with tongue and groove ceilings all made of Douglas Fir that we get from the British Columbia. As you enter the home the timbers sturdy and natural make you feel at ease. The 22’ tall ceilings give you volume and openness that only a post and beam home can. This post and beam home is 1600 sq. ft. with a Master on the first floor. The Great Room is why you build a post and beam home, it is where you spend most of your time. Enjoy the 20 x 14 great room with the adjoining 13×10 dining room. The 15×9 kitchen is sizeable and the best thing is that all 3 rooms can take in your views. Upstairs are two large bedrooms with a full bath. The upstairs is completely vaulted with the same Douglas Fir Timbers.
